Founded in 1994 by John E. Murrell, today E.R.I. Electrical Representatives is an established and successful company. First and foremost we are a sales organization. We have a clear vision of our direction. In partnership with our manufacturing partners we use strategic planning sessions to develop marketing and sales practices that yield the best possible results. We use the latest that technology offers to become operationally efficient.
Territory
The territory that we service, encompasses the 10 counties that make up Southern California, including the major cities of Bakersfield, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Anaheim, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego. The territory is over 35,000 square miles and has a population exceeding 20 million people. Industries include, tourism, motion picture, petrochem, food and beverage, marine, high tech, aerospace, and direct international trade.
Credo
We believe our first responsibility is to the contractors and end users who use and consume the products and services in which we represent. In meeting their needs, everything we do must be carried out in an efficient manner and be of the highest quality.
Secondly, our responsibility is to our distributor partners. We must strive to provide them with the tools and support to help their businesses prosper. Their orders and requests must be serviced promptly and accurately. Our distributor partners must have an opportunity to make a fair profit.
We are responsible to our employees. We must be mindful of ways to help our employees fulfill their family responsibilities. Compensation must be fair and adequate and working conditions clean, orderly and safe.
Our final responsibility is to the manufacturers that we represent. Their businesses must make a sound profit. We as an agency must continue to experiment with new ideas and approaches to presenting our manufactures products and services to the market place.
